SSEI Conference

I attended the SSEI conference today. There was a talk by Dr. Shashi Shekar, UM on 'Spatial databases'. It was mainly on spatial data mining.

I had a discussion with Lisa later and told her how I found only some part of this talk relevant. We had a very productive discussion.

The best part about our discussion was she asked some very interesting questions about GOMOOS datasets and how I could explore it more based on spatial analysis techniques. So sort of data mining the already existing GOMOOS dataset.

Question I want to dig:
What is the extent of correlation between variables in the GOMOOS dataset? I want to see if there are outliers in the dataset and try to find the reasons.
